20 Years… I can’t believe it.

My story is full of life experiences for sure.

I graduated from NYU with a filmmaking degree and a love of visual storytelling. I landed my first job at Ogilvy and Mather, a global advertising agency in New York City where I saw first hand the power of a strong emotional brand.

Curious about technology, I learned to code in college and found myself working at a cutting edge digital agency in NYC. For 16 years, I ran the production team of copywriters, designers, UX and developers and rose to became the only female partner at the firm.

Then I had two kids.

The fast paced life was too fast with babies at home so I left the firm and moved us closer to family – in Miami! There I found a wonderful non-profit called CODE/ART run by smart, driven and dynamic women who needed marketing help. Together we generated more donations and won some amazing, high value corporate partnerships. Unfortunately, it’s very hot in Miami.

Miami was too hot for my family.

To keep the family happy, we decided to move back to the northeast, this time to Connecticut. I came across another non-profit called SCORE that was helping local women and people of color start and grow their businesses. I signed up as a business mentor and fell in love with helping new entreprenurs gain traction and grow into experienced business owners.

Small businesses need help.

I’ve met so many wonderful startups and small business owners in Connecticut. So often they find themselves without the time to learn effective marketing and without the budget to hire a marketer. But they need customers to survive. So I decided to create an offering to bridge the gap – custom marketing plans that tell small businesses exactly what they need to do and how to do it for their specific business.

Think you might need this sort of help?

No obligation. No sales pitch. Just help.

“Sarah was able to help me see gaps in my overall marketing message and gave clear strategic guidance on what I could do to fix the problem.”
